Economic Evaluation of Project Carried out on Municipal Level

This bachelor thesis described an economic evaluation of a public investment project which was implemented at the municipal level. The theoretical part focused on induction to the problem by explanation of basic concepts, presentation of various possible methods for evaluation of public projects, and overview of possible ways to finance the project at the municipal level. The practical part evolved a case study which examined an economic evaluation of ‘sokolovna‘ reconstruction in a village ‘Kobylí‘, followed by determination of requirements to gain critical variables efficiency and critical input values from the investor's point of view.

Use of Grant Funds for the Realization of the Construction Project

This master's thesis describes an issue of preparation and evaluation of investment projects which are co-financed by EU funds. A practical example of the specific investment project is used to demonstrate a usefulness of co-financing by these funds. This investment project is processed as a case study which includes both financial and economic evaluation of the project. This evaluation also includes assessment of effectiveness and efficiency of this investment project.

Evaluation of Return of Investment Project

The bachelor thesis deals with investments and methods of their evaluation. In analytical part, this knowledge is applied to INTRO.CO company with a realised investment project. This part also evaluates whether there is a change in payback period of this project after a year of performance and if there is, how much this period extended. In conclusion, possibilities of increasing income from project and so speeding up the payback period are suggested.
